We had a special visit from Uncle Lyle and Annie a few weeks ago. They drove up from Atlanta to see our new house and help us celebrate Easton's birthday. Pops and Nana came for the birthday lunch. Unfortunately, Easton was past naptime by the time we were ready to have dessert, so he promptly went to bed after we sang to him. (See photo below of the overtired, exasperated birhday boy.) The rest of enjoyed very cool crab cupcakes from Whole Foods.Despite the looks on the kids faces, they loved Lyle and Anne. They were great with both kids ... which is a good thing since they will be adding a cousin to our family in February! (Ella thinks it's a girl.) Ella loved Anne so much that she named the baby doll they brought her "Annie." We are looking to forward to seeing them in Hilton Head next week!
