February has been busy and quick. Some highlights:
Evan turned 30 on the 7th and we celebrated with a Chinese themed murder mystery party. Our Community Group from church gathered for dinner, mystery solving, and general sillliness. They were all great sports, and there is already talk of another such party in the future!
Ella had a Valentine's party at school, for which she and Nana made beautiful pink heart cakes.
Daddy always finds ways to make the ordinary fun ... i.e. the diaper box and jump rope turned train car after dinner last night. Can you tell from Ella's face that we had spaghetti?
Our Leap Frog Caterpillar has become Ella's new favorite friend. She feeds him and puts him in time out for "being mean to his daddy." Hmmmmm ....
Ella is also very into her map of the U.S. puzzle. She knows where most of the states go, who we know that lives in any given state, and she often corrects us when we suggest the wrong spot for one. We also are required to say "Ooooklahoma" (as in the song) every time we pick up that state. Are we in for it, or what?
