It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas ...

We took the plunge and bought our Christmas tree yesterday. Our original plan was to go and cut one down like we did last year, but the bitter cold changed our minds. So, we went to a local nursery and bought a tree. The nursery sets up a little indoor winter wonderland scene that Ella and I stumbled upon while Evan braved the wind and tied the tree to the top of the car. She was pretty fascinated with all the little characters and lights.

Ella "helped" her daddy put the lights on the tree this afternoon. If he is home, she is never far from his side. Other activities included wearing the tree skirt like a cape and playing with the Fisher Price nativity scene GloMom and JoPop gave her last year.
The Christmas tree has already proven to be interesting. Ella really wants to touch all the ornaments, but she is not allowed to. So, she stands VERY close to the tree and says, "Ooooh!" She ended up in time out a few times today, but she seems to have figured out her new boundaries.

Easton continues to grow and become more fun. He loves to be tickled and always gives a good belly laugh as a result!
Enjoy the photos!
