We recently had our concrete back patio expanded to give us room for an outdoor dining area. As all you homeowner's know, and we are now realizing, one project inevitably leads to another ... and another. After the concrete guys poured the patio, it was painfully clear that some landscaping was needed to soften the look of our new concrete slab. Evan labored in crazy heat for several days digging out sod, installing edging, planting shrubs, flowers, and a tree, and mulching. A new patio table and umbrella finished it off. We are pretty happy with the results!No rest for the weary, though. Painting in Easton's soon to be big boy room begins tomorrow. At least it will be in the air conditioning!
